What is real? What really has value?

Our society is based around money, which we all earn by working and then exchange for goods and services. This evolution past the barter system, where the farmer traded one crop for another crop, or for help help from the local blacksmith, helped our societies evolve at a tremendous pace. Money is a tool that made it easier to be rewarded for your time and efforts. This tool has been very useful, but it has also become the “root of all evil.” Our modern societies have placed too much importance on material wealth, and have forgotten the most important thing about themselves: that we live forever.

I am one of the rare people who have had a near-death experience. I flew through the zebra-striped tunnel towards the light. I know for certain that we are spirits living behind the eyes of these flesh suits, and that spirit is really who we are. I would advise everyone to do some research on www.near-death.com and read some testimonials and stories about the afterlife. My good friend’s mother, Pam Reynolds, is one of the most well-known and documented cases of near-death. She had experimental brain surgery to remove and aneurysm. Her body was cooled, her blood was drained into devices that kept it warm and pumping, and she was clinically dead for 45 minutes. First she saw her body laying on the operating table from above, and she was able to recall the music that was playing and the unique devices the surgeons had in their hands. She then flew through the tunnel which opened up into a beautiful outdoor landscape, where she met with dead relatives who told her it wasn’t her time and she had more work to do on Earth. These spirits didn’t have to communicate with words, they were able to instantly download knowledge/answers to Pam.

In my research of other near-death encounters I came across the analogy of water, which I resonate with to be entirely true. Life is a journey very similar to the water cycle. Where the ocean is God and we are little drops of water sent out into the world to experience and learn. When we decide to come to this physical plane, or when we decide to be born, we separate from God and evaporate our water droplet into the clouds which represent the transition from the spiritual to the physical realm. We are then rained (born) into this world and travel down our rivers of life back to the ocean of God when we die. Sometimes we are at the bottom of the river, and life is cold and painful. Sometimes we are at the top of the river where life is warm and enjoyable. All the while we are gathering up experiences, memories, and emotions to bring back to God, so that God may better know us and better know the physical world that God created.

The reason I am bringing up the afterlife and immortality, is because if everyone understood and accepted this reality, then the entire dynamic of money shifts. People would begin to realize that money is only a temporary and convenient tool; a tool you can’t take it with you when you return to the spirit realm. The real currency you take with you is your experiences, memories, and emotions. In short, it’s all your time. The journey is the prize, not the destination. We are meant to gather as much experiences as we can in our short time here on Earth. This fundamental fact is what should shape our society of the future as we evolve further into enlightenment.

We should design our entire societies around giving people the most prolific and eventful time as possible. Notice I did not say life should be easy. Life shouldn’t be a painless cakewalk. Struggle and sacrifice provide a more valuable and colorful painting for God to admire. “Because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” Revelations 3. Society should be set up so that the most people can have the most profound experiences to take with them on their journey home to God. We shouldn’t be spending our lives in a rat race, stuck trying to pay bills, and living muted experiences that are mundane and repetitive. We should have a common goal of building a better world, exploring other planets, and staying focused on our dreams. We should build a better world together as friends. And during this building of the future, we will have endless amounts of experiences for God to admire.
