Queen STRIPS Prince Andrew of military titles and use of HRH amid sex-abuse lawsuit
Buckingham Palace announced that the Duke of York’s “military affiliations and Royal patronages” have been returned to Queen Elizabeth and he now faces a civil lawsuit in the US linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as a private citizen.
“With The Queen’s approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen,” the statement reads.
Andrew, 61, will no longer use the term HRH before his name and all his roles have been returned to the Queen with immediate effect.
