It’s a powerful turning of the year, with three major Squares formed in the sky, all on one side of the zodiac. Venus retrograde, Pluto, and Mercury sit 2 degrees apart in Capricorn. It’s time to release and transform all of the structures of our lives that no longer support our full expression.
There’s tension everywhere with these three Squares, one each in Cardinal, Mutable and Fixed signs. The Sun is in square to Chiron in Aries, activating the fight for a higher human expression, evolution, and rebirth, and to come out of the wounds of the past.
Jupiter is hanging out at 0 degrees Pisces, making a T-square with the Nodes of the Moon. Jupiter is excited to dream into new territory, but sits at a very confusing place, seemingly stuck outside of time. We will feel the influence of this square of Jupiter and the Nodes through the first half of January, bringing a feeling of not knowing if we are coming or going, and questioning every level of reality.
The Nodes of the Moon switch signs into Taurus and Scorpio on January 19th. This is the same day that the influence of the Saturn Square Uranus fixed square completes its year-long journey.
We sit poised for great change, and yet seem to be teetering on the edge. Venus retrograde, and Mercury preparing to turn retrograde in Capricorn on January 15th, makes this a strange shifting time. This makes it the perfect opportunity to take a leap, energetically, in your heart and soul. It’s time to start, right now, to live in the energy of the life that you know is possible. There is so much more to this story.
