Bitcoin CRASH to $10k predicted for 2022 (report)
After increasing value by around 70% this year to bring the overall crypto market to over $2TN, experts are predicting a spectacular crash for Bitcoin – hitting as low as $10k next year in the face of stricter regulations. (CNBC report)
Sussex University finance professor Carol Alexander claims BTC will see all its gains from the last 18 months wiped out in 2022, claiming it is more like a toy than an asset for investors.
She added that history is likely to repeat itself, citing 2018’s drop from a then-high of $20k to just $3k, while Bitcoin’s share of the market has dwindled as other cryptos have grown steadily.
