Sacred Count: 11 Night (rebirth of dreams) Moon in Gemini Gibbous Moon Phase: trust, magic Higher Octaves:  creative, lasting integrity, values, concreteness, looking for signs, progress, courage, dreaming Lower Octaves:  manipulation, lack of initiative, putting self at risk, unmastered, single focus only, disregarding others Mission:  see what is forming When the Sun conjuncts the Galactic Center, as it does every December 17th, it is like the beginning of Christmas! In astrology, the degree of the center of the galaxy represents God, and when the Sun is there, it is a spiritual rebirth. Many things happen with this, but now the slow, step by step things that we started a while ago are beginning to take form. Today is the eve of the Full Moon or the last day of the Gibbous Moon phase, a time when magic and belief fill the air. Today is also 11 Night in the Sacred Calendar, which is perfect for a long winter’s nap to dream of the days of long ago that are returning now. The Sun conjuncts the Galactic Center at 9:20 pm EST. The Full Moon begins Saturday, December 18 at 11:35 pm EST. Here are the details: 1 – VISION – The Sun conjuncts the Galactic Center at 27 Sagittarius, “the sculptor’s vision is taking form.” The development of a vision becomes a reality. An idea or belief that we have held begins to take form. 2 – WALKING – Mars is located at 04 Sagittarius, “a little child learning to walk.” This signals that things are prepared to move or take their first steps to becoming something more than we can imagine. An ability to explore and manifest is developed. 3 – HYPNOTIC GAZE – The Earth is discharging 27 Gemini, “a young gypsy emerges from the woods gazes at far cities;” Mercury is discharging 07 Capricorn, “a veiled prophet speaks seized by the power of a god.” There is some element of a surprise that captures our attention with a hypnotic gaze. Spiritual envisioning could bring us to a hypnotic gaze. But the times are what they are, so we know that something else is going on when one hand does one thing, and the other hand is doing something altogether differently. We follow our gut instincts, and maybe focus on what OUR vison is. 4 – M1.29 FLARE – At 12:39 am UTC, the Sun emitted an M-class flare when the Moon was discharging 02 Gemini, “Santa Claus filling stockings furtively.” If you are new to OR, the best way to determine a message from the Sun is to look at the Moon at that time, as it is the fastest “planet” that is discharging the same degree all over the planet. I did not know this until just now. How fitting for a day when we already know that today is the “start” of Christmas. This told me that my idea about how to cover this weekend’s Venus retrograde – something I have been thinking about for a while – is so very North Pole. It is like a note from Santa showed up to corroborate and, perhaps, show Divine inspiration. 5 – AURORA BOREALIS/NORTHERN LIGHTS – Venus stations retrograde on Sunday, and is paused right now, waiting to turn back. We understand that what happens during Venus retrograde from December 19 to January 29 is pivotal for the collective of humanity. A change is happening. The “Source Force” – us and our consciousnesses – must go to Source. We should ride along with it, above it, like the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights are a road or path or portal evidenced by plasma physics. It is electro-harmonic-magnetic. And they are beautiful — a perfect vision for a long winter’s night. (A bridge of the rainbow is something like what the Mahavidya Kali showed us in January 2014, with the Band of Brothers story. Maybe the fullest “development” of that story is happening or is like “a little child learning to walk.”) “Walking along the rainbow of the Northern Lights through the Venus retrograde” is the same as the Sabian symbol for Venus’ retrograde – “a mountain pilgrimage.” We will go with the Angels through that.
