Moscow FURIOUS with new EU sanctions against Russians
Russian Foreign Ministry spox Maria Zakharaova has slammed new EU sanctions imposed by Brussels this week against Russian companies and individuals allegedly linked to the private paramilitary Wagner Group.
“The European Union continues the practice of unilateral restrictions, illegitimate from the international legal point of view. New sanctions have been introduced against eight Russian citizens and four organizations groundlessly declared guilty of involvement in a certain private military company,” her statement said.
The Kremlin has strenuously denied illicit paramilitary activity in Africa, insisting Russian instructors are only operating at the behest of governments as instructors.
