Noddy Prince Charlie – Royal slumber at ceremony as Barbados becomes a Republic
Perhaps it was simply not interesting enough to see his mother’s power dissolved, but after jetting to another continent Prince Charles slinked off to the land of nod as Barbados became a republic.
The late hour and jet lag didn’t help – accounting for time differences, the ceremony was held at around 3:30am UK time.
In the end, he managed to stay awake, but in the future maybe he should invest in a pair of those glasses with fake eyes painted on.
