We, as humans, seek happiness. Some people, however, look in all the wrong places for this seemingly elusive commodity.
In an attempt to ward off misery and pain, people stack up meaningless things in an effort to feel content. However, without love, all the tangibles will leave them feeling empty and void of true happiness.
To demonstrate, God created man’s best friend as the perfect example of how love should feel. It’s giving without asking anything in return. It’s knowing your friend will do anything for you and only ask for a brief touch or a simple nod of appreciation in return.
Yes, we can learn a lot from a dog. They are loyal and will sit looking out the window for hours just waiting for you to get home. Never judging, only happy to see you.
This holiday season, share the gift of love with the lessons God has provided us by placing our canine friends at our service. Then, and only then, will you feel complete and be more able to rid our world of the loneliness it is currently experiencing.
