GAIA DAILY – July 26-30 – FOG OF WAR ~ July 27, 2021

Galactic New Year

With the Sun now in Leo, we are trying to find our role in the bigger picture. But in the fog of war, nothing is clear. There is a big shift of energy this week, as Mercury, Jupiter, and Mars all switch signs. With Mars joining Venus in Virgo, it’s time to ground out and sort through the rubble of the last year and a half. We must ‘clean house’ to prepare for what is coming.

Mercury in Cancer is now directly opposite of Pluto in Capricorn. We are beginning to understand the external chains of control, and the empowerment that can break us free. Celebrating our human-ness, compassion, depth of feeling and emotion, is what will ultimately get us out of the trap, and into a new level of human experience required in the Aquarian Age.

The Sun in Leo is urging us to express our full potential by waking up and opening our heart, coming out of the deep sleep of suppression. We must claim our birthright to fully live again, by feeling a full range of experience.

Mars at the end of the sign of Leo is coming into exact opposition with Jupiter, poised at the point of the shift of Ages at Zero degrees Pisces. These planets form a T-square to Black Moon Lilith at the beginning of Gemini. It’s time for the feminine in each of us to have full expression once again, if we are going to get out of this mess.

Jupiter will retrograde back into Aquarius this week. We are on the cusp of a New Era, but with the fog of the last months, we are still not sure if we are coming or going, or which direction is new, or old.

With all these planets switching signs, the backdrop of our reality is changing. Perhaps we can ground out and get a grip. It’s frustrating to work so hard to get to the top of the mountain, only to find it shrouded in mist and fog. It’s time for the confusing clouds to clear, so we can get a sense of where we are in the journey, and begin to plot our course ahead.

Lunar Aspects. Mercury in Cancer trine Pallas retrograde in Pisces. Mars in Leo sesquiquadrate Chiron retrograde in Aries – Sometimes it’s necessary to push to get what we want, however today there may be a tendency to push so hard something breaks. Maybe we want to prove that we aren’t vulnerable or show that we aren’t weak. Maybe it’s important that we’re seen to be ‘winning’. Whatever the score, we’re super-sensitive to our flaws and less aware of our strengths. Find healthy ways to express and channel anger. Pour energy into healing.

The Moon in delicate Pisces means we may succumb more easily to pressure, sink under a weight of emotions, flounder in the face of adversity. And yet, if we tread water instead of trying to fix it all, we give ourselves an opportunity to quench our thirst for meaning by tapping soul wisdom. Pallas too has stories to tell us, a quiet elegy that points to the source of our struggles, deep in the past. Here is the bridge from then to now, past to future. Everything is connected. Use your intuition to navigate. You don’t need to push when you move with the tide.

Degrees and Times Moon 00°Pi00′ D – 04:29 Mars 27°Le52′, Chiron 12°Ar52′ R – 12:23 (BST) Mercury 27°Cn17′, Pallas 27°Pi17′ R – 19:19 (BST) Moon 09°Pi13′, North Node 09°Ge13′ R, South Node 09°Sg13′ R – 20:50 (BST)
