First, a little housekeeping. WordPress “upgrades” for mobile devices are forcing us to change our blog theme and I am probably going to lose my beautiful “dusk to dawn” theme that I love so much.
This is a heads up for everyone because you will notice a dramatic change in the look of the blog. I know some people really like this format as they say it’s easy to navigate, and I wouldn’t change it if I didn’t have to.
In the coming days I will be looking at the themes WP has to offer and making some “push-button” changes. If I don’t like a new theme, I may switch to another one, so don’t let the appearance throw you off. It’s still the same website URL.
The blog will be the same, but different.

I also thought I’d throw in this analysis on the plane accident in Turkey where a Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737 went off the runway. The initial report says it appears they came in long and hot. They landed two thirds of the way down the runway instead of in the first one third, and also landed with a tailwind, which is rare. I thought they always land into the wind. So they had too much airspeed and not enough room to brake before they ran out of runway. There was a drop off after the runway ended and it was that drop that caused the plane to break apart, not the barrier wall it impacted. The verdict at this point is reckless flying on the part of the crew.
