Overview

Communication Challenges

September 5th sees an awkward inconjunct between Mercury in Leo and Mars in Capricorn. Focused or conservative actions will be at odds with bold/creative words, and the disconnect can lead to tense conversations or ineffective efforts. This aspect was first triggered on August 21st by the Leo Sun. 

Mercury will then enter Virgo, the sign that it rules, but its strength will be temporarily compromised as it makes yet another inconjunct, this time to Chiron Rx in Aries (on September 6th). The identification of flaws or solutions will not be totally effective, and helpful words might rub some people the wrong way. The Virgo Sun triggered this aspect on August 24th, so you’ll be revisiting the issue. 

Grand Earth Trine

The good news is that Saturn in Capricorn stations direct on September 6th and activates a Grand Earth trine with Mercury in Virgo and Uranus Rx in Taurus (effective from September 6th to September 7th). Despite the above difficulties, this trine allows you to turn words into reality. The focus on details, upgrades and solutions can effectively integrate change into your routines. The Virgo Sun activated this trine from August 23rd to 25th, but now you’ll be putting those potentials into words and moving ahead with your goals. 

Venus

On September 8th, Venus in Libra squares Mars in Capricorn. Actions will conflict with what you want, and sometimes this can indicate a hot attraction. It will certainly be motivating, but Venus in Libra does not like to be challenged, so the disruption of harmony can feel uncomfortable. And, some efforts to attain a desired goal may be too much/too serious.

New Moon in Virgo

The September 9th New Moon in Virgo trines Pluto Rx in Capricorn. This gives new developments a powerful feel, and that power will be based on Virgo energies- making it better, doing it right, identifying the precise details. A sextile to Jupiter in Scorpio adds a nice boost of quiet optimism and potential for future growth. But this Moon will oppose Neptune Rx in Pisces, so there’s also potential to lose sight of the details and get lost in the fantasy or suspicion.
