Landslides and a lot of damage reported after 7.5 – 7.8 Earthquake Rocks PAPUA NEW GUINEA, 42 plus earthquakes all over 4.0 including a big 6.0 have struck the same area in the past 24 hours. Damage assessment teams have been sent to the area as many people live in out of major cities scattered throughout the landscape.
Just as we get a break from the record flooding from #texas to the #northeast another possibly even more #significant #system is beginning to form and will bring the same conditions we just dealt with in the past week and a half. Tornado’s will once again be a very significant part of the next 5 days for many of the same areas just effected last night As the system widens we see rain rates as high as 8-10 inches in some areas including Central PA, Long island, Rhode Island, new jersey South of that North Alabama and north Mississippi are expected to add another 6 inches of rain fall over as little as a 2-3 day period 5.0 plus tremors still going on as a #MajorEarthquake 7.5-7.8 rocks #PapuaNewGuinea Depth still being analised but none the less a major event that follows another #MajorEarthquake we just had in #Mexico
