Well…it’s ti-time! Don’t know if the solar flare sending a CME towards Earth and destined to hit sometime late this Sunday evening (July 31) is The Event” or not, but the effects of this CME will be measurable. What to expect? A proton stream erupted from the sun in an Earth facing direction and is now traveling to earth at 22,000 m.p.h. which should reach here just after midnight on July 31, 2016.
