Many posts are out there urging people to “wake up”. We are pummelled daily by new information about the erosion of our basic human rights, by new military tactics designed to start WWIII, and by news of planned regression of our financial freedom. What the heck? Why do I have to “wake up” to anything? Won’t this just all go away once we have better leadership in place?
Better leadership is the NOT the crux of our current issues…but it IS the best example of our current spiritual delimna! Our leaders are only giving us a shining example of our old paradigm where “might makes right” and “I’ll do whatever it takes to get mine!” However, this type of thinking does not place the “other guy” first and that, in a nutshell, IS the real issue. LOVE “seems” to be nowhere to be found!
“Waking up”, “awakening”, “becoming aware”…we’ve ALL heard these terms. What do they mean? Waking up means that YOU become aware of what’s REALLY going on! Stop for just a moment and mentally step away from the TV, the kids, family issues and concentrate for just a moment on…YOU! Many have NEVER done this, but YOU are important and responsible because YOU have the ability to stop all this nonsense!
I am NOT urging you to pack everything up and go out to make a stand somewhere, but I AM urging you to find it in your heart to BE LOVE…no matter what your personal situation! LOVE is taking us out of this paradigm of fear, greed and distrust. LOVE brings back the good guys to fight for our side…that’s NOT fighting with violence either!
What can YOU do once you are “awake”? Every one of us has the ability to make a stand…just BE..LOVE! LOVE is the only “fix” to what ails us. LOVE does not worry, LOVE does not fear, LOVE does not corrupt. But rather, LOVE shines, LOVE wins, LOVE heals…and that is EXACTLY what the world, and YOU, need right now!
