Matt Damon broke out into the mainstream world in a big way by writing and starring in the film Good Will Hunting, which happened to take home an Oscar for best original screenplay in 1998.
Since then, he has been one of Hollywood’s biggest and most recognizable faces, starring in The Bourne series, The Ocean’s series, and many more —including the 2015 best picture nominee The Martian.
But Matt Damon is a lot more than a talented actor; when it comes to intellect, he sits well above the Hollywood standard.
On June 3rd, Matt Damon decided to revisit the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) — the backdrop of the aforementioned Good Will Hunting — to speak to graduates in a commencement address. Rather than simply leaving the graduates with the usual ‘inspiring’ platitudes, Matt delved into other important subjects he has come to know much about.
From Donald Trump and the world’s big banks to the mainstream media, Matt exposed them all in this thought-provoking speech:

This isn’t the first time that Matt has been so candid. In 2013, we shared a video in which he recited a speech originally delivered by Howard Zinn in 1970 identifying how, contrary to popular belief, many of the world’s problems can be traced to civil obedience rather disobedience.
In 2014, Matt appeared on a segment for HuffPost Live where he shared the story of the thirteen year old girl who changed his life, and how the inaccessibility of basic necessities needs to end now.
Given his stature, both of these public appearances stirred up quite the buzz, and I’m sure that this commencement address is bound to do the same.
I was not surprised to see Matt use this opportunity to touch upon the financial system in particular. In addition to his previously exemplified intellect, he also narrated the documentary Inside Job, which to most of us at CE is still one of the most essential informative films ever made.
The documentary exposes what really brought upon the US financial meltdown, including who is truly responsible and what we as a collective can do about it.
Given how much of an influence they have, I always appreciate celebrities that take the time to publicly speak on subjects they are passionate about rather than simply sticking to questions related to artistic work. Jim Carrey, Russell Brand, and Mark Ruffalo are among the many that have made a concerted effort to expose the truth behind topics such as vaccinations, the world’s elite, and GMOs.

It’s not just the Federal United States. It’s the “government” of the UK, CANADA, FRANCE, GERMANY, AUSTRALIA, JAPAN….. all fakes.The truth has come out finally and conclusively. There are so many people to thank for that, it beggars description….the rats have been fully and absolutely exposed. The criminality of the banking system has been fully documented by The Paradigm Project— Heather Tucci-Jaref and others. A few American lawyers remained true to the American cause and a few DOD employees did too, and they all did their actual jobs. As a result, the bankers are caught, dead in the water. And the fraud is at an end, no longer something that can be suppressed and contained by filthy politicians and bankers meeting in secret.
The rats in DC are in a bad position, and more and more of them are realizing it. 177 nations worldwide have recognized that the “Federal United States” has acted as a criminal syndicate and that it has been operating in a form and in a way forbidden by its charter and the treaty and trust documents allowing its existence, so that it has not faithfully “represented” the Continental United States and the American People, but has instead been misusing and abusing Americans at home and then also misusing American resources including the Armed Forces as Bullies against other countries, fomenting war for profit, and engaging in every kind of vice and war profiteering in “target countries.”
While we Americans have been kept ignorant and clueless by the perpetrators of these fraud schemes (all of which are easily recognized as classic bunko schemes executed on an unimaginably large scale) what I would most like to share with the rest of the world at this point is that the American People — the People of the Continental United States as opposed to some elements operating the Federal United States —-are good people, moral people, peace-loving, hard-working, God-fearing people. We were lied to, bullied, purposefully deceived, taxed to death, deprived of basic rights guaranteed by our actual Constitution, press-ganged into the international jurisdiction of the sea, and defrauded of our labor and our actual property assets. We suffered along with the rest of the world.
Those responsible include the Crown Corporation and its agencies and subsidiaries, the government of the Inner City of London aka WESTMINSTER, the Lord Mayor, the Lords of the Admiralty, the British Monarch dba ELIZABETH II, IMF, FEDERAL RESERVE, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INC., and so on. Please note that the British Monarch is the American International Trustee on the High Seas and Inland Waterways and that all the abuse we have suffered and which the rest of the world has endured, too, has been caused by British mismanagement and war-mongering for profit.
The other thing I would like the world to know is that many American government officials, even members of Congress, were kept in the dark. This entire criminal scheme was designed to be operated by just a few at the top.
Finally, I would like the rest of the world to know that preliminary estimates indicate that only about 20% of the money appropriated to fund domestic American welfare relief ever made it to any poor people, and less than 2% of the money appropriated as foreign aid ever made it to the intended recipients in other countries.
The American People have been defrauded and had the lion’s share of their intended assistance to others at home and abroad siphoned off to fund criminal activities.
The facts are now speaking for themselves. Anyone who wants to argue with me or cast aspersions and suspicions at me as an individual should be advised— I am not here to prove anything to anyone and I am not the issue. The issue is the information. The facts. The timeline. The fraud. Everyone in receipt of the information has the basic tools necessary to research these matters for themselves and they are fully invited to perform their own due diligence. Numerous people from around the world have been contacting me and asking for help related to their own governments. The basics of what we have learned (at least to our satisfaction) is that the System was introduced in England in 1867 by Benjamin D’israeli, with legislation resulting in the “enfranchisement” of English workers.At the time, this was hailed as a good thing by English Labor Union leaders and other Progressives who were deceived into thinking that the “right to vote” was an advancement of the position of the working class. It was in fact a means of further and officially enslaving the working class by a process of registration. If you look up the legal meaning of the word “registration” you will learn that anytime you register something you are giving it or some aspect of it up to the ownership or control of the entity keeping the registration. It is not the same as publicly recording an ownership interest in a piece of property, for example.Thus, when you “register to vote” you give up your natural right to elect your leaders and in effect hand your proxy over to whomever cares to exercise it. The word “enfranchisement” relates to this undisclosed registration process, too, in terms of “enfranchised voters”, but more darkly, it is used in the context of incorporation—- and that is what D’israeli aimed at with the Acts of Parliament involving Enfranchisement.Think of large corporations that are operating in your various countries that have local franchises. In America, it might be McDonald’s or Dairy Queen or Sears. These corporate franchises are obligated to be pretty much in lock-step with their national and international parent corporations and they operate under franchise licenses.Anytime you see the word “license” be aware that it is official permission to do something that would otherwise be illegal— in this case, the franchises receive the license to use the name, logo, recipes, products, etc., of the franchising corporation.
What does it mean to “enfranchise” a human being, in this sense of “enfranchisement”?
It means to reduce you to an incorporated thing, a subsidiary subject to the whims of corporate management. It means enslavement, body and soul. In supposedly equitable exchange you receive the benefit of voting for your slave masters and whatever privileges they give you, the right to be taxed and regulated to death, the right to be conscripted, the right to pay for a million dollar life insurance policy with the parent corporation named as your beneficiary, and so many other so-called “benefits” it hardly pays to name them.
This is what we have been dealing with. Thanks to Benjamin D’israeli and a besotted Queen Victoria.
It also means that the banks, the Bar Associations, the Lords of the Admiralty and the Lord Mayor and the Queen engaged in a systematic program of press-ganging land assets into the international jurisdiction of the sea. This crime has been outlawed—utterly outlawed worldwide— for 200 years. It carries the death penalty and they did it anyway, using a pathetic excuse.
Once they had “converted” all the living people and their estate interests into franchises of the various governmental services corporations, they could claim that they were justified in their actions because there is no law against enslaving a corporation.
In actual practice and fact, of course, they did enslave the living people and all their private property assets. This is how they were able to enforce “Selective Service” and other forms of “The Draft” during the Second World War. This is how they have been able to spend uncontrollably and rack up huge amounts of odious debt against the civilian populace.
By registering your birth, seizing control of your name, and creating all sorts of corporate franchises benefiting their own corporations named after you— they–the bankers and lawyers and politicians effectively stole your identity and your credit cards.
Now we come to the issue of Odious Debt. Odious Debt is debt created by fraud of which the victims are unaware and from which they do not benefit. Much of the so-called “National Debts” around the world are this form of debt, and Odious Debt is not collectable.
It must be written off and forgiven. This is what is behind Pope Francis’s declaration of an International Year of Jubilee beginning December 8, 2015. Beyond that, we also come to the issue of National Credit. All these fiat money systems have been operated as debt-credit systems. Every time you create a debt in such a system you also create a credit. Therefore, every National Debt is counterbalanced by a National Credit. Why have you never heard about your National Credit, only your National Debt?Because the perpetrators fully intended to leave the working people holding the bag while they siphoned off and absconded with not only the National Credit owed, but the underlying actual physical assets as well.They won’t be able to do that now, because now you know the truth about “National Debts” and how those National Debts were accrued by credit fraud, and you also know that you are owed an equal National Credit.
Finally, everyone worldwide needs a lesson in the mechanisms of fraudulent convertible debt. A fraudulent convertible debt is a debt created by fraud that is converted into new ownership and used by the perpetrators as investment capital. The most typical example is the billing you receive every month for electrical service (at least in America this is true).
What appears to be a bill comes addressed to YOUR NAME in capital letters and your address. Unknown to you, this “billing statement” isn’t really a true bill and it isn’t addressed to you. It is addressed to a franchise of a governmental services corporation and the “statement” is actually a voucher allowing you to cash in a “dividend” equal to the amount shown as due and owing— but of course, you are never told this and you are never told how to fill out the coupon for credit. Instead, if you don’t submit payment you are threatened with disconnection, and in this way, you are coerced into paying the bills of a governmental services corporation’s franchise.
Of course, the utility company submits the bill each month directly to the “government” and gets paid for servicing the franchise. That’s payment Number One. Then they send you a billing statement and coerce you to pay it. That’s payment Number Two. They establish a “capital credits account” in YOUR name and deposit your payment in that account. They then use that money as investment capital benefiting their utility company and prevent you from accessing the capital credit account you funded. In some cases, the utilities are so crooked they set the “capital credits” aside and later claim that they are “unclaimed funds” and abscond with them directly.
Fraudulent convertible debt always involves a double-dipping system in which a charge gets paid for twice by different parties. In effect, it gets you, the consumer, both coming and going. You are on the hook to pay for the “government’s debts” — so as a group you paid for payment Number One, and as an individual you were forced to provide payment Number Two as well.
The same exact system of fraudulent convertible debt is used throughout the mortgage industry. When you create a mortgage, it is never credited to you— it is registered in YOUR NAME— as being owned by a government franchise operated under your name, but not belonging to you. Remember that the governmental services corporation is the owner of YOUR NAME, which is the incorporated franchise they are running for their own benefit under your name without your knowledge or consent.
So you walk in to close what you are told is a loan being made to you, and what happens? The bank takes your Promissory Note, which has Actual Cash Value, just like a stack of bank notes, and they cash it. That’s payment Number One, charged off against “the government”, which of course passes the entire cost back to you and your brethren in the form of taxation. Then the bankers come back under false pretense that they actually loaned you something, and demand that you pay them back principal and interest for thirty years and claim that you also owe them a security interest in your property (which you gave them, albeit under conditions of fraud and deceit and non-disclosure) which they can foreclose upon if you fail to perform. That’s payment Number Two—so, in effect, the banks charge you once, then charge you twice, plus interest, plus a security interest that is undeserved—and you fund all of it. You fund the first payment through your taxes to the “government” and you fund the second through more of your labor “donated” to the account of YOUR NAME and what really, did you receive?
You received access to credit in a bank account held in YOUR NAME, but not actually belonging to you, and you spent that credit on a home and property that is recorded in YOUR NAME but which doesn’t actually belong to you, either. Both the purported debt and the property belong to the governmental services corporation’s franchise. You are just an unpaid volunteer, doing all the work and producing all the credit to fund these operations, for the benefit of the franchise. It’s more usury, only this time, owing to the interest payments and security interest, it’s more like quadruple dipping than double dipping.
And all this blatant fraud based on semantic deceits and coercion and racketeering and deceptively similar names has gone on under the noses of all those you trusted to regulate banking and securities, precisely because the banks were running the “governmental services corporations” behind the scenes and were “regulating themselves.”
So what is the answer? Other than becoming aware yourself, spread the word. There will be too many of us for them to silence and once people know what went on, they will be stuck for it.
And what to do about replacing these criminal enterprises masquerading as governments? Well, we all know how our governments are supposed to be operated and by whom, and for most of us, that means we have to get involved.
The Americans are busy restoring their actual government on the land jurisdiction of the Continental United States. It’s our understanding that Mrs. Merkel is doing her best in Germany and that numerous other heads of state are grappling with the facts and trying to bring remedy without bloodshed or disruption. Help them. We are informing the members of Congress that they have been elected to private corporate offices instead of public offices which they are meant to serve and that this has been accomplished by fraud and deceit. They have to choose their true allegiance and accept their true elected office in order to serve and represent the interests of the Continental United States as deputies and fiduciary officers—-and they otherwise have no capability to enter into any valid contract in our behalf or claim to represent anyone but themselves and their own little group of cronies.
Meantime back home we are occupying the vacated public offices we are owed and we are operating our state and county governments as judges, sheriffs, bailiffs, clerks, legislators, and many other public offices under American Common Law.
Action is moving forward on an international basis to end the criminality, expose the fraud, and bring relief. Please keep your minds and hearts fixed upon what is good and right and just, and realize that the vast majority of the people who have been employed by these corporations have been innocent of the evil they have unwittingly done. Even many lawyers and judges are completely unaware that they were doing anything wrong. To echo Jesus Christ, “Forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

We are not here to enter into unknown territory by many. We are here to serve … and to go into matters such as some require, we do not feel assists … only confuses.

No. For all over your internet service there are a billion and one answers on any given subject matter, so that when one researches, they simply become bemused in the guessing game of what is true and what is not.
WE … THE FEDERATION OF LIGHT do not wish to enter into this particular game. We choose to come only through/in/of/as /the Vibration of Highest Love. Offering wisdom on how to raise one’s Vibration … not to confuse it.

Truth is that which is none other than Pure Love. When something FEELS RIGHT for you … that is TRUTH … for YOU. When it feels uncomfortable … then it is not.
Yet, the same TRUTH may feel uncomfortable for one and yet not for another.
Our point entirely. You are Each travelling your own journey. You are discovering your OWN Truth as you go along … and yet, we would say … that TRUE TRUTH … is discovered the more a soul walks in to it!
Is there a false TRUTH?
Not to the individual.

TRUTH is that which lies within the soul.
When one chooses to follow ‘Their Truth’ they are serving ‘Their soul’ … even though another’s view point on that ‘Same Truth’ perceives it very differently.
The point of LOVE perhaps at this stage in THE GAME upon Earth … is to discover self through experience … and through this experience, gain and accept the soul-self BACK into TRUTH.
Yet, why would it ever stray?
TO EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING.

and this will/cannot end … for Life is eternal and always will it expand into a greater place within itself.

Yet, they are … ‘at the time’. As we said … that which FEELS good (at the time) is one’s own particular TRUTH … serving that particular soul … on that particular journey.
At another time … that same TRUTH no longer serves as a TRUTH to that particular soul … for it has served its purpose in being TRUTH to that soul at that time. Understanding has been absorbed and that TRUTH is now ready to be undone and that particular soul moves on to a Higher TRUTH … of /within themselves.
Yes, I understand. For, as I too have said before … Things that I once didn’t regard as TRUTH have now through my opening up … become TRUTH. I guess because I understand them more.
Correct. As understanding of SELF/ALL is released and becomes apparent … then TRUTH does the same.
Ok. So, to get back to my original query then … Either the world is flat and the sun is cold … or … the world is round and the sun is hot?
Or … the Earth is square and the sun is luke warm! You see Dearest Souls … at the end of the day … the Earth can be anything you want it to be … flat, round, square, hollow, opaque … name it … it can be it.
Yes, it CAN be it … but IS IT?
Yes … if you want it to be. That is our whole point and yet … it maybe a little too complicated to explain at this stage of The Game.
Try me … indulge me, if you wouldn’t mind. Yet, before you start … may I say that I get that everything is possible. What I don’t get, is how all these possibilities can be going on at the same time, regarding the same thing. How can the Earth be flat and round and square and hollow and opaque all at once?
It depends on where YOU CHOOSE TO BE. It depends on YOUR CHOICE of perspective. For ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is possible at/in any space of your time that YOU CHOOSE.
You have been indoctrinated to KNOW that the Earth is round … for instance. Yet, once upon a fairy tale … it was KNOWN that the EARTH was flat. Now once again … people are questioning ‘back’ to the original query as to whether it is indeed flat … and round and round you go!
Meaning it IS round?
Blossom … meaning it is whatever you wanted it to be. Depending on WHERE you CHOOSE to BE.
There are flat Earths. There are round Earths. There are hollow Earths and there are opaque Earths. There are as many Earths as you desire them to be. Infinite Earths.
So, which one do I do my shopping on?
The one that you choose to move through at the time of doing your shopping.
Is it round or flat?
Neither/Both. Depending on where you are choosing to have your focus.
So, is it that simple? I can one day be on a flat Earth and one day be on a round one?
Better than that … you can one MOMENT be on a Flat and another MOMENT on a round.
Assuming then … this is all about dimensional shifts?
Indeed. They are taking place with every thought.
And yet … all around me seems so fixed … so … solid.
Because … that is your stable diet! That is how you have chosen to perceive EVERYTHING.
OK. So … it is knowledge now, that many of us are here down on Earth to help lift it into a Higher Vibration. So, are we not then on ONE PARTICULAR EARTH … the one that needs to be lifted into a Higher place?
Yet, how would you know if there is not just one, yet many that you are creating … that are in need of this?
Clearly I don’t! And then we go into that question of … who comes in and out of any given momentarily ‘jump’ in/through/out of dimensions with me? I sound like I know what I’m talking about. Nope … just going with the flow!
In and out of dimensions? Your live’s FLOW in and out of dimensions … all the time … depending on a simple thought.
Or a complicated one! OK. So say, for example, I am having a coffee with a group of friends and we happen to experience a UFO flying past (thought I’d throw that in the mix) At that time … are we all jumping into a dimension together that has the UFO in its ‘script’?
Yes. Apart from those in the group who didn’t see it … for it was not in their thought pattern.
Yet, it might not have been in anyone’s … at the time.
Yet, it would have been at some point … in some ‘space’ of their reality of their consciousness.
Then how come some people who don’t believe in UFO’s have the privilege to see them?
Because it is in the forefront of their mind that they don’t believe in them. Not in their greater consciousness.

And yet … the piece at one end of the ball … as it is being unravelled and wound around the hand … is not aware of the other end of this ball. The other end of the ball is not ‘experiencing’ the same impact of being unwound … even though, on some level it is aware that ‘something’ a long way away is stirring. It is not actually aware in full, of what is taking place at the other end … even though, it is part OF it. Only as the ball is unwound more and more does the FEELING pass through to the other end … as the unravelling draws closer and closer to it.
Yes, that sort of helps. Thanks. Yet, if it is through CHOICE of where we want to be and I choose to go there … to the ALL KNOWING … I still don’t feel that I … the ME HERE … the one that wants to experience it in this NOW … is able to do so.
That is because only the YOU that is of THAT Vibration can experience it. YOU … through Choice are still experiencing it … you cannot not … and YOU are there BEING IT.

We are here to help clarify what it is you are hearing. There are so many factions with a voice on your earth that unless you are certain of intent – you must rely on a sort of internal instinct to guide you.
Yes. Right now there is more than once voice offering information on hidden agendas. None of them come from any “in place” or “currently operating” government system. Yet all of them carry their own bias.
I suspect this will as well, yet I wanted to ask.
Well, your question is not easily answered. Those holding the tightest rein on what is released have yet to release their grip. (This was a confusing sentence, and I actually wrote “reign” which well, also has to do with control, as in royalty – but I was thinking it meant “reins”, as in “holding the reins” – Sophia)
For what are they holding on?
For a chance to continue, for a bit of fear regarding the actions of an enslaved 8 billion populace – mostly for their own continuance. They realize that with the end of their ownership comes an end to this life they live. One way or the other, their exit is a guarantee. They have always known this, yet living it is another story.
What have they always known?
Those holding the system in place
have always known it was temporary – a game played out on Earth and with humans. The belief systems

you call the “cabal” are not those of the owners. They play different games and use the Cabal/Illuminati as managers.
The games these beings are playing at are much grander. The illuminati and various other sects have plans at eliminating vast numbers of humans while enriching themselves with more land and the ore held within it if considered worthy.
The owners themselves rely on the masters of these sects and their greed and fear and appetite for power to carry out the “dirty work” of on-site slave owners.
What those with the reigns are interested in is your soul. Their game was an experiment in consciousness. It was seen early on the resilience and tenacity of man and decided then that he/she would be an excellent candidate to determine, via experiment, the length a being would go to,

to save himself, to not physically save himself but spiritually
(save himself).

Those wearing the Illuminati t-shirts were available to make up the opposition. Yet this is not in truth an opposing side. They too are attempting to renew themselves spiritually by eliminating those seen as worthless and un-worthy. It is felt that they know the secrets to enlightenment and therefore bear the responsibility to save all souls.
This experiment – with its slaves and slave manipulators – is played out by “greater” beings still. Beings who see and hold both sides – “dark and light” and observe their extreme actions in order to save their soul. This is an experiment in consciousness.
In order for it to end, an answer must be delivered. This answer will satisfy the question of these greater “creator gods” and they will exit. The answer, it would seem, is unity. Yet neither the “dark” nor the “light” has come to that conclusion.
The “dark” speaks of Enlightenment while separating itself from others it sees as “lesser” and necessary to control.
The “light” speaks of Enlightenment while separating itself from those it sees as “evil” and necessary to control.

It is the need to control that will need to be released before it occurs – the release of control. It is seen that your earth is held in control and this attitude is held within its occupants. Freedom is not granted, it arises from within. This is the stimulus that sparks what you refer to as disclosure on a massive and complete scale.
None involved at the level you inquire about have ill intent towards the human or any being. These are creator beings, ancient and interested in primal motivation. The end here of this system of control was seen as inevitable. Yet what was not seen was how it would come about.
Although those managing the planet are now in trepidation regarding their fate at the hands of humans, they have always been aware of this impending outcome.
Life here as human is an exploration on many levels.
What lengths will a physical being go to in order to reach for “the light”? Until that being comprehends the enormity of eternity and essence, the question remains.
The experiment began polarized, and set up camps of believers and gods and non-believers and devils. These factions, although named differently, still exist.
What creates full disclosure is an eruption of unity.
The Celestial Bodies are lining up this year in an increasingly specific fashion to create a field that will provide the perfect conditions. It is up to Man to take advantage of these conditions.
If Man does not adopt Universal Oneness he is destined to experience it through cataclysm of Gaia, the Earth on which all men depend and rest. Gaia understands oneness and has promised to provide the home for its emergence in the physical.
I hope these words satisfy your inquiry. There is always “time” for things to change – Mankind and indeed every individual must choose.

In lieu of Flashback Friday, I’m going to take it on back to a few weeks ago when I was sitting outside on the porch having a very pleasurable and thought-provoking phone conversation during which I was asked, “What do YOU believe?” Great question! Well, at the time, I didn’t have a very good answer – fairly certain I offered up what I was feeling at the time – but the question has been hanging out in the back of my mind since. “What DO you believe, Amy?”
So a couple of days ago, I got home from work and found myself back on the porch and as I was thumbing through social media I saw, because of his recent transition into the non-physical (I prefer to not use the word “death” anymore), that Wayne Dyer’s movie “The Shift” was streaming for free so I took the opportunity to give it a watch. Needless to say, it was phenomenal. In the movie, Wayne speaks of a “shift” in one’s life which is triggered by what he refers to as a “quantum moment” which has been defined as “a moment in which you feel different, moved emotionally… responding to what would otherwise be an ordinary situation, but you respond instead in an extraordinary way… increasing your ability to perceive and process information vital to you and your purpose in being here,” and describes the shift as “stepping into the afternoon of our life” and I’ll quote him to further illustrate the point:
“Carl Jung writes that the afternoon of our lives represents the time when we begin to shift away from the ego being the dominant force in our life. We begin moving towards a life journey that has meaning. The morning of our lives is really occupied by ambition—getting as much as you can, collecting as much stuff as you can get, impressing as many people as you can, preparing yourself for a job, saving your money, setting goals, pleasing everybody, and doing the right thing. Even getting good grades in school revolved around the ego part of us, which really believes that who we are is what we do, what we get, and what other people think of us. That’s basically the essence of the ego. In the afternoon of your life, you don’t do life. You do what resonates with the callings of your soul.” – Wayne Dyer
In the movie, he uses the Tao and Lao Tzu’s “four cardinal virtues” as a means to outline what it means to live a source-aligned life once you’ve made “the shift.” I read the Tao Te Ching back in my first semester of college and while I was too young and oblivious to really care, I’m grateful to have been sort of reintroduced to it in the context of this movie because the practice of these “virtues” speaks to me at the deepest level – I love how Wayne explains the four virtues as applied to daily life so I’ll share his thoughts:
“Some 2,500 years ago, Lao-tzu spoke of “the four cardinal virtues” and noted that when we practice them as a way of life, we come to know and access the truth of the universe. These four virtues don’t represent external dogma, but a part of our original nature—by practicing them, we realign with Source and access the powers that Source energy has to offer. According to the teachings of Lao-tzu, the four cardinal virtues represent the surest way to …reconnect to your original nature. The more your life is harmonized with the four virtues, the less you’re controlled by the uncompromising ego.
The First Cardinal Virtue: Reverence for All Life The first cardinal virtue manifests in your daily life as unconditional love and respect for all beings in creation. This includes making a conscious effort to love and respect yourself, as well as to remove all judgments and criticisms. Understand that you are a piece of God, and since you must be like what you came from, you are lovable, worthy, and Godlike. Affirm this as often as you can, for when you see yourself in a loving way, you have nothing but love to extend outward. And the more you love others, the less you need old excuse patterns, particularly those relating to blame.
The Second Cardinal Virtue: Natural Sincerity This virtue manifests itself as honesty, simplicity, and faithfulness; and it’s summed up by the popular reminder to be true to yourself. Using an excuse to explain why your life isn’t working at the level you prefer isn’t being true to yourself—when you’re completely honest and sincere, excuses don’t even enter into the picture. The second virtue involves living a life that reflects choices that come from respect and affection for your own nature.
Make truth your most important attribute. Walk your talk; that is, become sincere and honest in all that you say and do. If you find this to be a challenge, take a moment to affirm: I no longer need to be insincere or dishonest. This is who I am, and this is how I feel. When you know and trust yourself, you also know and trust the Divinity that created you. If you live from honesty, sincerity, and faithfulness to the callings of your spirit, you’ll never have occasion to use excuses.
The Third Cardinal Virtue: Gentleness This virtue personifies one of my favorite and most frequently employed maxims: “When you have the choice to be right or to be kind, always pick kind.” So many of your old thinking habits and their attendant excuses come out of a need to make yourself right and others wrong. When you practice this third virtue, you eliminate conflicts that result in your need to explain why you’re right. This virtue manifests as kindness, consideration for others, and sensitivity to spiritual truth.
Gentleness generally implies that you no longer have a strong ego-inspired desire to dominate or control others, which allows you to move into a rhythm with the universe. You cooperate with it, much like a surfer who rides with the waves instead of trying to overpower them. Gentleness means accepting life and people as they are, uppotrather than insisting that they be as you are. As you practice living this way, blame disappears and you enjoy a peaceful world.
The Fourth Cardinal Virtue: Supportiveness This virtue manifests in your life as service to others without any expectation of reward. Once again, when you extend yourself in a spirit of giving, helping, or loving, you act as God acts. As you consider the many excuses that have dominated your life, look carefully at them—you’ll see that they’re all focused on the ego: I can’t do this. I’m too busy or too scared. I’m unworthy. No one will help me. I’m too old. I’m too tired. Now imagine shifting your attention off of yourself and asking the universal mind How may I serve? When you do so, the message you’re sending is: I’m not thinking about myself and what I can or can’t have. Your attention is on making someone else feel better.
The greatest joy comes from giving and serving, so replace your habit of focusing exclusively on yourself and what’s in it for you. When you make the shift to supporting others in your life, without expecting anything in return, you’ll think less about what you want and find comfort and joy in the act of giving and serving.

I know for those who will most-likely read this, it sounds like amateur hour. But, I’m sharing this today because…this is what I believe. Anyone who is a “light worker” or on a spiritual journey understands that practicing these virtues is the basis of heart-centered consciousness. It is the way to raise one’s frequency, to “replicate the energy field from which you originated.” Relaxing into the flow of life and taking the path of least resistance is the most efficient way to integrate new light and energy. I believe that when we realign with Source that we can truly access the powers that Source energy has to offer. Realigning with Source brings magick back into life. For me, since the initial “shift” I’ve experience numerous “quantum moments” and numerous “shifts” and each has brought about a new level of awareness, and expanded consciousness. It’s an ongoing evolutionary process and I’m very much enjoying the unfolding of it all. All of the amazing energetic experiences, the ability to do energy work, greater intuitive abilities, ability to discern, empathic abilities…all of these things that I’m experiencing are a by-product of a Source-aligned journey, and for that I am happy and joyful and grateful to have found myself in the afternoon of my life.
