What a Cold War calculation cost, and what it’s still costing

Semjase’s contact and Hatonn’s Journals both describe watchers and teachers — figures who observe, warn, and occasionally intervene, but who never once offer to simply hand humanity anything. Valiant Thor’s case is different in kind, not just in detail. This is the one account in this Contact Counter-Current series where an offer to humanity for its benefit was actually made, at the level of government, and actually declined. What follows examines that offer, the two named human channels who carried the exchange, and the still-unresolved question of exactly what got signed away in its place.
Victor One, and the Contingent
The offer traces to a delegation from Venus — called Abejar in its own language — represented across the record this article draws on by three named voices: Commander Valiant Thor, captain of the craft Victor One; Queen Lady Orda of Abejar, described in the record as Venus’s monarch; and Al-Lan of Abejar, assigned to an Earth-based security detachment and claiming, notably, only a single prior human incarnation, in sixth-century-BCE Persia under Darius, as a Zoroastrian Magi.
Val Thor’s visit to Washington in the early 1950s is primarily documented in Frank Stranges’s Stranger at the Pentagon, and photographs and film purporting to show him and his contingent, as well as clear as day images of his Victor One craft circulate in the same contested, off-radar way as most physical evidence in this series — presented here for what it’s worth, for the viewer to decide and/or investigate for themselves.
The Channel and Contactee
The material this article draws on did not arrive through only through public record. It came through Rob Potter, a founding member of Prepare for Change and a person I had known personally for years — interviewed and met in person six to ten times, with semi-regular calls between — and through Raymond Keller, known in this exchange as Publius Vergilius Maro, Venus’s own historian, and to the world as “Cosmic Ray.” Keller has authored a series of books describing his own reported visits to Venus, and served, in the exchange examined here, as the “channel” through whom Rob’s submitted questions reached the Abejar contingent and their answers came back — in this instance, delivered as a Microsoft Word document, dated for authenticity to December of 2019, with the session itself dated October 2 of that year.
This publication’s own contact with both men predates this article by years. Raymond Keller was met in person April 8, 2025, in Laguna Beach, at a presentation followed by dinner — on top of two prior interviews. That relationship doesn’t verify the contact claim itself. It does mean this is not a channel found cold, but one with a track record this publication can actually vouch for. And also, one channel, or contactee that remains current, establishing that the well-publicized contact established in 1957 remains active through today. In fact, very active.
A Teaching Before the Politics
Before addressing anything operational, among several replies Rob shared with me and many in his member group, this particular 2019 Abejar reply opens on theology — specifically, a teaching attributed to Lord Dysmas, described as regent and high counselor of Venus: that standing with the divine was always a matter of willingness to serve, not of accumulated works. The comparison offered is a blunt one: joining an army doesn’t require having been born in the right country first. What you’re willing to do matters more than where you started. It’s a small detail, but it sets the tone for everything that follows — this is a contingent that leads with an ethical claim before it makes an operational one. I choose this particular response of the several that Rob shared with me over the years because towards the end of Rob’s journey, he was called to explore deeper into the reincarnations of beings that appear in our religious traditions – we can now call them non-human intelligence with credibility given the license created by the governmental acknowledgments of the past year, and how they reflect on a level of human supervision over the past two millennia.
Not Gods, Just Older
This reply Rob received is explicit, in it, more than once, the Venusians claim that extended lifespan is not divinity. Abejar’s own scientists, by this account, began studying DNA and cellular response to electrical impulse roughly eighteen and a half million years ago, using equipment recovered from a long-vanished Aldebaran colonizing force — research the material calls, in its own vocabulary, Vril energy. What it describes discovering maps closely onto ideas this publication’s Arcane Blueprint arc already treated as central under a different name: something close to what other traditions call Prana. The claimed result is genuine longevity, sometimes measured in thousands of years, but the material is careful to draw a hard line: true immortality belongs to fifth- through seventh-density beings, not to Abejar’s third- and fourth-density civilization, however long-lived it is. I’ll add as a side note here, but very central to many claims out there, that Rob specifically said the Venusians are fourth-density beings, and we have to go to fourth-density as well next, while they approach their next station – the concept being that we are tied together and that ascension is supported given the proximity to the central sun of the Milky Way galaxy. In that reading, Venus, or Abejar, is the second planet from the sun, Earth/Terra is the third, and Mars is the fourth. The key takeaway here, is that Venus is thought of as the planet of love and feminine attributes, while Mars is the masculine planet of war – therefore, Earth is somewhere in between, and each planet’s vibration or frequency is determined by its energetic proximity to the Sun.
TIER NOTE — THE TRANSCRIPT’S CLAIM THAT EARTH SCIENTISTS WERE, AS OF 2019, CLOSE TO UNDERSTANDING THESE SAME ENERGETIC PRINCIPLES IS A RARE TESTABLE-IN-HINDSIGHT DETAIL IN THIS MATERIAL — WORTH A GENUINE LOOK AT WHAT BIOELECTRIC AND REGENERATIVE RESEARCH HAS ACTUALLY DONE SINCE, RATHER THAN TREATING THE CLAIM AS EITHER CONFIRMED OR DISMISSED BY DEFAULT.
Digging a little bit deeper into the same reply given Rob, it warns, unprompted, against contactees who use claimed communication for self-promotion or a cult of personality, offering what it calls a duck test for discernment: judge the fruit, not the costume. It notes, separately, that Earth’s magnetic poles flux and occasionally reverse, but that a civilization-ending axial event is not, in this account, imminent — a small, easily overlooked detail that nonetheless matters, given how much apocalyptic material circulates around exactly that fear.
Now, remember that Valiant (Val) Thor is a reported Commander of the Venusian contingent who made himself known at the Pentagon during the Spring of 1957 and was reportedly introduced to President Eisenhower and Vice President Richard Nixon.
The 1957 Fork
Val Thor came with a conditional offer of peace and assistance to the United States government. This was at the height of the Cold War. The offer itself, and its rejection, has been scrutinized over the years and generally falls into the lore that then President Eisenhower rejected the offer in what’s known as the Greada Treaty (sometimes called the Grenada or Edwards Agreement) made with the Grays. Valiant Thor’s contingent approached Eisenhower first. They offered to help humanity eliminate the threat of the Grays and provide spiritual advancement, but only if the United States completely dismantled its nuclear weapons program. In the past decade, Laura Eisenhower – Dwight’s granddaughter – who I’ve spoken with directly about this matter has been doing duty reframing the account, giving a firsthand family account of what actually happened when Val Thor’s contingent made its approach to the United States government. Her account is specific about what was weighed and what was chosen: rather than accept an offer that, by its own terms, would have required real transparency and a different relationship to secrecy than the security state was built around, the generals and the emerging military-industrial complex chose instead a technology-exchange arrangement with the Grays extraterrestrial group — one that asked for experimentation access in return for hardware, not for disclosure. This group of Grays are thought of as being from Zeta Reticuli star system
The deal was reportedly done for an exchange of technology, which
appealed to the military command in exchange for human exchange or abduction. The thought being that the Zetas were of a non-organic non-human intelligence looking to bred souls of humanity into their offspring. Though, this may sound really far out, it’s not that much different than the alternative contact stories and belief system that humanity was seeded by the Anunnaki as a slave race who altered our own DNA – just seen through different circumstances, locations, and times.
The choice was never between contact and no contact. It was between an honest relationship and a manageable one.
Framed against this series’ litmus test, the 1957 decision is close to a textbook case: not a rejection of contact itself, but a preference for the version of contact that could be kept secret, controlled, and weaponized over the version that would have required the government to actually change how it operated. Val Thor’s offer, per present-day sources in this publication’s network, has never been formally withdrawn – only almost 60 years on – provided to alternative sources.
Two Accounts, Not Yet Reconciled
A separate, and more complicated, thread has entered this research since the 1957 story was first established, and it creates some tension or illumination depending on the side of the story you’re aware of.
TWO ACCOUNTS, 1952 MJ-12 OR 1957 EISENHOWER — LAURA EISENHOWER’S OWN BROADER ACCOUNT DESCRIBES A JULY 1952 UNCONDITIONAL US SURRENDER TO THE NAZIS UNDER TRUMAN — ONE THAT, IN THIS TELLING, TRANSFERRED AUTHORITY OVER ANY EXTRATERRESTRIAL TREATY TO A BODY CALLED MJ-12 BEFORE EISENHOWER EVER TOOK OFFICE IN 1953, MEANING EISENHOWER HIMSELF MAY NEVER HAVE HELD THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO SIGN ANY ET TREATY AT ALL. WHETHER THIS 1952 MATERIAL AND THE 1957 VAL THOR STORY DESCRIBE TWO CONNECTED MOMENTS IN THE SAME UNFOLDING FIGHT, OR TWO SEPARATE FIGHTS THAT HAPPENED TO OCCUR IN THE SAME DECADE, IS NOT YET SETTLED HERE — AND THIS ARTICLE LEAVES THE DEBATE OPEN FOR FURTHER POTENTIATES.

What both accounts agree on, regardless of how the specific treaties and dates eventually sort out, is the shape of the choice: at every juncture this material describes, the government of the era chose the arrangement that could be kept hidden and used, over the one that would have required openness. That pattern is the throughline worth carrying forward, whatever the final documentary picture turns out to be. And also the pattern of choosing service-to-self rather than service-to-others particularly from the administrative service class, in this case, the Military Industrial Complex.
The Contingent Continuity
The Venusian contingent that stayed in contact with Raymond Keller and Rob Potter gave the same information and much more expanded information over the years. Humanity needed to pass through this period of education regarding service-to-self and service-to-others. We need to examine polarity and duality in this density before we graduate. 60 years on, the messengers have changed and Rob was in physical contact of ambassadors doing his best to give humanity the messages of theirs, which was consistently based around love and understanding, forgiveness and gnosis. Also, that there would be a time of assistance which is thought to be upon us now and consistently since the open contact of Val Thor in the late 50s.

Both Raymond and Rob leave a large repository of NHI contact with our planetary neighbors that run counter to the contact traditions of more impactful contactees of the opposing faction. None the less, their contact and willingness to come forward and be public about their stories is a credit to their service and many laid bricks at the foundation for the contact we are experiencing around the planet as we prepare for full disclosure. What Val Thor Leaves Behind
Set the unresolved 1952/1957 question aside, and what remains is consistent with everything examined so far: an offer made in good faith, a warning about the cost of secrecy dressed up as security, and a pattern — repeated at Semjase’s warning, at Hatonn’s warning, and now here at the level of an actual government decision — of choosing control over honesty at exactly the moment honesty was on the table. The next article follows the figure who, across every version of this pattern this series has traced so far, keeps showing up on the other side of that same fork: present at this country’s founding, present in the Theosophical circle that followed it, and present, by every account gathered here, still.
