What if this is about Disclosure? What if the passengers are rescued by ??? Who has access to and uses those portals? Will a “miracle” occur? Or is it more about the lack of diligence in the safety concerns of this submersible which were brushed off as insignificant?
Could it be more revelatory as they could possibly discover that it was not the Titanic? So many options.

I watched the new Avatar movie on the weekend, “The Way of Water” [twice] and it was better than I expected. I thought it would be difficult to match the original, but it came very close and was so rich with sensory overload I knew I needed to watch a second time to pick up what I missed.
There were still the floating Hallelujah mountains, the ikran were back, and a few new amazing creatures. To the massive exoskeletons making super soldiers out of the Humans, they added a clever crab exoskeleton and even used the term “maglev”.

I thought it interesting that the movie contained some elements from Cameron’s movie “Titanic”. Kate Winslet was in the Avatar 2 cast while she also had a starring role in “Titanic”. Considering the re-entry of the Titanic into the news this week, it’s all very suspect with the Na’vi family stuck in the overturned craft. Qincidence? I think not.
There were many parallels with our life on Earth/Terra, of course, with the invasion of Pandora and the free lives of the Na’vi. The “sky people” invaded again after ten years and held a sport fishing event with the whales. They hunted them down with tracking devices, disabled them with tanks of air and once they were exhausted they drained a golden liquid from them; “Amrita”, which was of insanely high value. The remainder of the beautiful, sentient whale Beings was left to rot.
Forget about “unobtanium”—
In the movie, Amrita is described as the “ounce for ounce, the single most valuable” asset in the universe, with a small vial worth more than $80 million. Here’s the really crazy part: it stops human aging completely, apparently. This is mentioned as a brief aside in the movie, but we can expect this to play a larger role in the forthcoming sequels. It was no Qincidence that they used the phrase “darkness to light”. The messages throughout the three hour plus movie came through loud and clear. The sky people told them “Earth is dying” and they needed to settle on the planet of Pandora, just as we were led to believe by some of the invaders on Earth who claimed their species was dying so they needed Human specimens to rejuvenate their numbers.
I thought the forest people and the sea people—both very honourable and benevolent—coming together was very telling, particularly when Sully insisted they could adapt and adapt they did, even with their skinny arms and tails.
