The Sun enters Pisces on February 18th at 11:56 PM EST. Like all the Mutables (Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius) Pisces is a liminal sign- it marks a period of transition between the settled energy of the previous Fixed sign and the forward movement of the upcoming Cardinal sign (Pisces sits between Fixed Aquarius and Cardinal Aries).
This period of transition in this Water sign is an ideal time to explore release, forgiveness and allowance. You can exhale before Aries ushers in the Spring Equinox and allow yourself to give up control over what you never could control. Forgive yourself and forgive those you’ve been nurturing anger/resentment towards. Note that this is not the same as allowing someone negative back in or allowing them to hurt you (again). You’re simply releasing and turning your face towards increasing light and life ahead.
Pisces is the sign of fluid boundaries, favouring creativity, transcendence and compassion. If you pay attention, you’ll sense a subtle increase in flow – events pull you in a certain direction and some people/situations fade away. The trick is remaining true to yourself while the current swirls around you.
