To receive a Love that truly sees us as we are – no more, no less – we need to be willing and ready to see ourselves exactly as we are too.
No pedestal, no cage either. No exaggeration of any kind. Just ourselves, as we truly are.
When we only accept to see ourselves as golden, we only attract people that place us on pedestals – and who may not be willing to see the reality of who we are.
When we only accept to see ourselves as fragile or failures, we only attract people that want to heal or to save us – but they may not be interested in witnessing our growing light.
To receive a love that’s willing to take us for all that we are, we need to be ready to see ourselves for all that we are too.
All of it. Our light, as bright as it is even if sometimes it feels like the Sun — and our vulnerabilities, as real as they’re even if some nights, we may need to be held and nurtured like Baby Deers.
